Recent photos of my performances:
Because I
often play for Irish folks, I decided to get a green Kilkenny jacket
and vest:
I think it goes nicely with the red
Royal Stewart kilt, and seems more Irish.
I did a wedding at Zosa Ranch, up
near Temecula. The
photographer Tony Eisenhower Photography
took some pictures of me:
Well, at least
I seem to be
enjoying the music!

Here's a view of me and my pipes from the side, showing off the plaid
and drones ribbons.
On St. Patrick's Day, I worked with some dancers from the Highland
Fusion dance troupe (www.highlandfusion.com). Looking at us,
you'd
never know it was cold, wet, and raining just a few feet away!
Above is a picture of me in the Border Patrol kilt. It's not as flashy
as the red Royal Stewart kilt, but it's elegant!
Binns Photography took
pictures
for an engagement I did at La Costa Spa and Resort, for the Petco
Foundation. We played for the golf teams as they finished their
rounds and posed for photos with the players afterwards.
Here's a picture of me at the Little
Chapel of the Roses at Glen Abbey. Isn't it a pretty chapel?
I played a Navy dining-in ceremony onboard the Hornblower Cruise ship
"High Spirits".
Leading the way in Washington, DC (that's me in the centre)
In June 2003, I helped publicize the San Diego
Highland Games with live appearances on KFMB (channel 8) and KNSD
(channel 7/39).
With the 2002 PM Angus
MacDonald Memorial Western Regional
Championship overall trophy - that's my name on it!
Leading in the bride ...
and escorting the happy couple out!
Here's a view at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery
Sometime folks wonder why I show up so
early before an engagement. Well, yes, I am conscientious and like to
show well in time to play for folks - but also, I have to be sure and
get all the white dog hair off my black Prince Charlie jacket and vest!
Above are our two Samoyed dogs - Dora, on the left (6 years) and Delta
on the right (10 years). We love them lots (and hopefully, vice-versa!).
Often, when a customer wants to meet to
here the pipes and talk to me in person, I'll ask to meet at the far
end
of the San Diego Zoo's parking lot: it's pretty central and usually
uncrowded. I decided to put up a picture to make it more clear where to
meet me, after we've arranged a date and time:
